While trying to recline the backrest of the recliner backward, the footrest is coming open. It will always stay closed unless we try to function it. We can't lean the backrest alone.

While trying to recline the backrest of the recliner backward, the footrest is coming open. It should be closed when we lean the backrest alone. Normally, we can't do these functions separately at our discretion.

Are the above sentences grammatically correct

Recliner A
When reclining the headrest the footrest comes open. You can't use the headrest independently of the footrest.

Recliner B
When reclining the headrest of the recliner the footrest comes open. You can also use these features independently of each other.

Are the above sentences grammatically correct?

Remember to end every sentence with one appropriate punctuation mark. As you can see from Tarheel's response, no, neither sentence was grammatically correct.

Thank you for your help on this. I tried to modify the sentences as below. Please check and advise if they are correctly worded.

When reclining the backrest of the recliner the footrest comes open. We can't use these features independently of each other. We couldn't identify the reasons why it is happening. Therefore, we suggest that the supplier to inspect and rectify the issues.

Thank you for your time and help.

Do you want them to inspect the recliner(s) for problems?

Yes, since we are unable to identify the reasons, we need the supplier to rectify the issues. Please advise if they are worded correctly.

I think you need the manufacturer to consider repairing it, not the supplier.

Yes, We directly purchased it from the manufacturer. Shall I write as follows, please advise.

When reclining the backrest of the recliner, the footrest comes open. We can't use these features independently of each other. Our technician was unable to identify the reasons why it is happening. Therefore, we suggest that the manufacturer to inspect and rectify the issues.

I wouldn't make a suggestion. Perhaps:

Therefore, we ask the manufacturer to inspect the recliners and fix the problems.
