Sentence: "She might get the/a ministerial post in the future"

Question:
What would the appropriate article before the word ministerial in the sentence ? And is the article "the" necessary before the word future in the sentence ?

Thanks

If we are saying that she might become one of the ministers and we are not specifying which post, use "a ministerial post". If, however, it has been suggested that she could become, say, minister of transport, use "the ministerial post". Yes the article is necessary before "future".

If there will be a specific post available, use "the".
If there is a possibility of some post being available in the future, use "a".
Yes, "the" is necessary.
