[Grammar] Regarding the use of preposition "without"

Sentence: "See, he is abusing me without provocation, now what you have to say ?"


My question/doubt: Is the preposition "without" correctly used in the above mentioned sentence ? or it has been used wrongly ?

"Without" is correctly used. Note the "do" I have added.
