Replace the dashes with periods ("full stops" in British English), capitalize the following letters, and you'll have four correct sentences.

Neither "all along the line" nor "across the board" works well for me. A single-word adverb like entirely or completely would be fine.

I'd remove the definite article before "German reunification" in the first. I agree with GS about "all along the line/across the board" not working.
