Root have stress?!!

can anyone explain that it is possible that root have two syllable that it means have stress?

Well, some roots with two syllables carry stress, and others don't.

if we separate suffix and prefix from the word, we reach something like this:

prefix + something + suffix

i want to know what we call this something?

That would be the root, occasionally called the "base word". But I thought you already knew this.
