Hi,

Can you say:

"During the holiday seasons a lot of packages get lost due the rush"

Thanks

Hi,

Can you say:

"During the holiday season[STRIKE]s[/STRIKE] a lot of packages get lost due the rush"

Thanks
No: 'because of the rush' or just 'in the rush'. There are times where you could make seasons plural, but it's normal not to.

(Most people would accept 'due to' also, but I'm one of the dinosaurs who expect 'due to' to refer back to a noun or noun phrase: 'The loss of parcels is due to the rush'.) ;-)
