say or saying?

Hello everyone,

Is it correct to say

Did you hear him say that?

or

Did you hear him saying that?

If both sentences are correct,what`s the difference in meaning?

There's little difference here. If we say I heard + bare infinitive, it implies we heard it all, while the gerund is when when we hear part. ;-)
