Hello everybody.

Once I heard the word "cast-off".. well, I'd like to use it instead of "scrap".

So, we have the sentence: "The delay was caused by some scrapped pieces"

Is it right to say "The delay was caused by some casted-off pieces" ??? Can I use this word as an adjective?

Thank you!!!!

You may want to use "scrapped" in relation to production.
"Casted-off" - no - the term is cast-off (noun).
