Hello all:

What do you think of the following 2-sentence:

1. I don't fell secure when walk alone in street at mid-night.
2. I don't fell safe when walk alone in street at mid-night.

They are the same or not? Why?

They mean much the same thing. I'd say 'safe' is the more common word. ;-)

"Secure" is an adjective. When used in this sense, the verb "feel" is a linking verb. That makes "secure" or "safe" a predicate adjective.

No, here "something" is used as a pronoun.
