What does this "sent out" mean? You wouldn't dispatch your laundry to a laundry shop. Does it just mean "leave something at"?
W:Jennifer gets a phone call from her friend Peggy. Peggy says she is going to have a party at 9 p.m.
tonight, and invites Jennifer to the party. Jennifer accepts the sudden invitation with pleasure, but she has one problem. She has sent out the jacket she likes most to wear for laundry. She decides to contact the owner of the laundry. Jennifer calls him and explains her situation. She wants to ask if she can get her jacket back as soon as possible, or by 7 p.m. at the latest.
