Dear teacher,

How to combine the following two sentences into one?

1. I just watched the movie on TV's HBO channel.

2. The last scene of the movie is set in the urban district of Istanbul.

I tried to do it as:

(a) I just watched the movie whose last scene is set in the
urban district of Istanbul on TV's HBO channel.

or

(b) I just watched the movie on TV's HBO channel whose last scene
is set in the urban district of Istanbul.

Which is acceptable, (a) or (b)?

Hello Contiluo,
Version A is correct whether written or spoken. Version B format is often heard in informal conversations and understood but suggests that the last scene of TV's HBO channel is located in the urban district of Istanbul.
