[General] sentence from 'This I Believe'

Hello, I was listening to the radio program called 'This I believe', and there is this sentence I don't understand.
The Speaker is telling the story about her adopted brother and here is the sentence-

More important, Tyler’s response of “even up to the sky” shows he knows it as much as I did. Many of my friends are shocked when they find out that my little brother is adopted, because he looks like he belongs in our family.

What is response of 'even up to the sky? 'I would really appreciate if someone clarifies this for me, Thank you.

The previous context was just telling how they adopted Tyler and how they all ( the whole family ) became to love Tyler as a member of family.

Often my mom can be heard telling Tyler, “I love you from the top of your head, to the tips of your toes, and everything in between,” and she means it as much as she did when she said it to me as a child. Oh, okay. He's saying he knows how much his mom loves him - an infinite amount of love (to the sky). Which means that he has no fears that being adopted makes him less loved than his sibling.
