Does that paragraph sound fine to you?

- I´ve learned throughout my life that nothing lasts forever. Both good and bad moments come to an end someday. That is why as time goes by, we get more mature and understand more about life.

(There is sth there that sounds weird to me, but I won´t say it so as not to influence anyone here. Thanks!)
