Hello

Your brother set a good/fine example of building a beautiful tree house.

This sentence does not say to whom a good example was set. It just says that Your brother set a good/fine example by building a beautiful tree house.

What is your opinion?

If I would like to say that someone set a good example to someone else by doing something, could I say something like this:

Your brother set a good example to me by building a beautiful tree house?

Your reply would be highly appreciated.

Thank you
