( put - set - make - do )

I think the answer will be )make)because we say make a fire,but we say set fire without a?
Am I right?

It is possible to "set a fire" though it is rarely used. You can also "lay a fire", "light a fire" and "build a fire"! The problem with these multiple choice questions is that there are frequently 2 possible answers. If I were faced with this question, I would also select "make" because it is the best choice of a bad lot! I'm sure some people will disagree.

"Put" and "do" are definitely wrong!

Set a fire is used when we want frighten or warn.
Make a fire is used for cooking or warmth.
