In the Animation movie "Home on the Range,"
The Auctioneer sold the farm to a man, and the man introduces himself saying:

"O'Del is the name and forclosures is the game"

The auctioneer said to him then:

"well just set yourself over yonder"

I looked for "yonder" and I got "over yonder" as "over there." Still I can't understand at all what he means by "set yourself over here"

Thanks a lot.

Sorry, but again why he said "set yourself" and not "sit" I can't get it.

It's "folksy."

Set yourself = go sit.
