Hi,
I want to know what verb to be used with the noun shopping:
Is it:
1. .... go shopping.
2. .... do shopping.
3. I am/was shopping.

I believe that it is, Do shopping is it right? But I heard it on the T.V said
that "I am shopping"

Thank you.

He is British and I like him sooooooo much. I thought that it is different in use from AE to BE.

Are these ones correct:

I have some shopping to do now but let's meet up at the Starbucks at five.
He told us he ran errands all the afternoon and was worn out at the party.
She loves shopping in these fancy boutiques.
Shopping with her is nothing short of a nightmare.
Have you done the shopping today?
She's gone shopping at the mall.

Nouns, right?
No "do"s in the lot. What's the pun?

Try,

Let's do some shopping. :D
Let's do shopping. (marginal; slang; means, Let's shop, Let's go shopping)

All the best,
