Should both the commas be retained?

The following is from a Buddhist magazine

In the Gosho, 'Teaching, Practice and Proof", Nichiren Daishonin states:

"Use determined but gentle words..."

Should both the commas be retained? I think the phrase enclosed by the commas is non-restrictive and the commas are needed.

You have received numerous answers to a similar question here, and I see that you have asked the same question here.

In the earlier post reproduced below, only one comma is involved. In the latest post, two commas are used. That's why it causes me to doubt.

Nichiren Daishonin’s writings are called Goshos. The following is from a Buddhist magazine.

The Daishonin describes this sentiment in the following passage from the Gosho, "The Royal Palace":

"The situation is much like a powerful bow with a weak bowstring or ...".

As for posting on the other forum, it's because I had waited for hours without a reply. However, I have taken note of your advice and will refrain from doing so. And I would like to apologise for what I did.
