I want to reply directly to your explanation but for some reasons - I don't know what they exactly are- I can't log in now.


I would like teachers and members to compare similar words below.

Is there any difference between two sentences above?

No, same meaning.
One could argue that 'to suggest' is more of a piece of advice, whereas 'to propose' means the speaker is ready for action if his proposal is accepted. This is a slight nuance though, and is probably not worth discussing about.

We can have a discussion about something. We can also talk about or talk over something, but we do not discuss about something.
