I am wondering if my sentence sounds natural.

Since Paul moved to another town, his friends never heard about him.

Since Paul moved to another town, his friends haven't heard from/about him.
After Paul moved to another town, his friends never heard from/about him.

I presume you know the difference between "hear about" and "hear from."

"Hear from" means he didn't send them any message.
"Hear about" means they didn't hear any news about him; they didn't have any information about him.
