singular or plural?

Hi, I've just read an article and found confusion about the sentence. "One thing that stands out is the diversity of the projects that RGB have". RGB is a company. Isn't it supposed to be using 'RGB has' instead of 'RGB have'.
Please help me to comprehend by giving some explainations. Many thanks in advance.

In BrE, you'll find that we use both the singular and the plural after things like company names. We don't have a hard and fast rule for it.

Manchester United is a great team.
Manchester United have won the league title.

I love Apple. They make great products!
Apple is great! I love my iPhone.

Generally, in AmE, the singular form of the verb is used.
