Hi,

Please let me know if the following sentence is correct.

Asssociates need to display their ID card.

If I say,
Asssociates need to display their ID cards(instead of card) will this render the sentence incorrect?

I feel when we are talking about associates-which is plural, cards is a better option, isn't it?

Regards,

You are absolutely right in using

Associates need to display their ID cards (since each of them is entitled to one card)

:-D
