hello all, first off, i'm not a native english speaker, so please forgive me for any spelling/punctuation errors.
i'm looking for help on solving this riddle ;

John where Jack had had had had had had had had had had had the teachers permission

All you need do is put in the proper punctuation, and this becomes a proper english sentence.

Since punctuation isn't one of my strong suits, i definitely need some help here !
this is revenge from a friend i gave a cryptoesk description of his coffeetable, wich took him 3 months to solve
i know that getting an answer here could be considered cheating :p, therefor i would tell him, about 3 minutes after his face turns all red while his mind processes the anger/disappointment, can't wait !

thanks in advance !

Well, we wouldn't want you to cheat, now would we? :D

HINT
Punctuation required
2 comas (,)
1 semi-colon (;)
1 period (.)
3 quotation sets ("...")

All the best, :D

Oh, if I had had a puzzle. The first coma (,) is correct! :D The other punctuation marks are incorrect. :( By the way, there's also an apostrophe ('), somewhere. 8)

Nice apple! :D Thanks :grab:

[whisper] There's a hint to the solution hidden in my reply. 8)

Nice ! :)

John, where Jack had had "had", had had "had had"."had had" had had the teachers permission

that correct ? there's still an apostroph missing...

Sorry. It's not correct. :( Yes, the apostrophe is still missing. HINT: an apostrophe attaches to nouns, and it can show possession (e.g., Sam's bike; Pat's idea; Max's words.

All the best, :D
