[Grammar] some ordering schema

I've seen this in a formal passage. Using 'schema' as a singular countable noun after 'some.'! Is it possible?
.... according to some ordering schema.

'Schema' is singular - the plural is 'schemata'.

A singular noun can follow 'some': My daughter will make some man very happy.
