I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct.

Someone full of envy and spite cut the mooring's rope of the luxury yacht in the night. It drifted into the open sea, where it was picked up by fishermen.

I'd use "the luxury yacht's mooring rope". Also, there's a danger that a reader might think that "It" at the start of the second sentence refers to the rope. Even though it's a little repetitive, I'd start the second sentence with "The yacht".

Mooring rope of the luxury yatch is okay too but I don't think mooring's rope is correct.

Consider also "it drifted out to sea where it was (eventually) found by (some) fishermen."
