[Grammar] Sometimes when most students graduate

Could you please tell me if this sentence is correct?
Sometimes when most students graduate, they don't seem to know what to do with their lives. As a result, they will just be drifting.

I'd probably say "When some students graduate, ...".

Does sentence above predict the future [the writer of the sentence predicted that]? or is it related to the students' plan for future?
