I thought I'd heard it a few times before, but I wasn't sure if that wasn't just my unnatively ears mishearing things.
I've just watched a video where the narrator clearly (I think) does it, changes /st/ to /ʃt/, in "Her strategy worked" and "If we do not understand why (...)"
Am I right? Are these "/ʃtrætədʒi/" and "/ʌndərʃtænd/"?
Does the narrator sound like a native speaker to you?
Can you tell me something about the transition from /st/ to /ʃt/?
