The Star Trek sagas hold my attention
With a fiction that I relish--
The knowledge that in a future time
Everyone everywhere will speak English.
Thru the magic of television,
With the power of imagination,
Put aside feelings of inhibition
And live the life of space exploration.
To be a traveler, an adventurer,
To travel beyond Jupiter and Mars--
Ah, to be a space traveler,
To journey to the stars!
To live the adventure of a lifetime,
To realize the dream of the centuries,
To take leave of this puny world of mine
And explore the universe's mysteries--
A man who doesn't fit in anywhere on Earth
May find himself at home amongst the galaxies.
