I was struck by her enthusiam and her obvious sense of pride in her jobshe was doing.


That 'He was struck' means he was shocked by other people's bahaviour and somewhat in a more surprised way. Am I wrong?

It doesn't have to be negative- 'strike' means 'hit', so it could be positive as well,which I think it is here.;-)
