Wisdom comes from imagination and reflection. If you can imagine the possible future outcomes of your present decisions and actions, you avoid mistakes. And if you can reflect on the mistakes you have made, you can avoid making the same mistakes again and again. Such is wisdom.

Does "Such is wisdom" read good to you? Is it better to write "This is wisdom?" Thanks.

Such is wisdom = This is the structure and basis of wisdom

This is wisdom = the statement I have just made is wise.

Thanks, Anglika.
But I don't get it--how do you get the interpretation I highlighted in blue?

Context - the preceding sentences describe what goes to constitute wisdom. "such" here means of a particular or similar type; of the type previously mentioned.

Hard work, combined with constant practice, constant reading and constant writing - such is the study of language.
