Tag question

Hi

I am writing to ask a question about tag question.

Soccer is a really exciting game, isn't it?
Soccer isn't a very exciting game, is it?
Will these two sentences makes any difference?

If I say the tag question with rising intonation or with falling intonation will the meaning make any difference?

They mean the opposite of each other.

With rising intonation,I am asking a genuine question. If the intonation is faltter, I'm just checking. If intonation actually falls, it can mean disbelief:

Football's an interesting game, is it?

Here, and not that the two verbs are the same, I would use falling intonation as a way of showing that I don't like football. ;-)
