Everybody, my Visa application has passed. I'll arrive in Australia soon.
Ron poet, Tdol, Shane, Female teacher Cas, Mike,........(Do I ignore somebody? It would be very sorry. Forgive me.)
Thanks to all of you guys.

And buddy Cooler, I'm going to have the first step for my dream in my entire life. Hope you'll be good too. We're gonna have a very very tough life but surely we'll finally overcome any hardship, right?

Thanks, guys. It's really nice to share this news with all of you here. I suppose now it's about time for me to know and talk with Real Foreigners. I really hope they'll be as kind, generous, and helpful as you.

Btw, teacher tdol, could you introduce me to your Australian friend, please? And did you ever hear what Australian accents are like? One of Chinese there told me they said a lot of different English, which pretty much freaked me out. I don't even make sure they could use words like slangs I learned from Friends. If there is a language barrier betweem us. I can't imagine how frustrated and awkward I may be by then.

There are some Australian slang dictionaries here:
https://www.usingenglish.com/links/Slang_and_Colloquialisms/

Australian English does use some different terms, but it is readily comprehensible. The accent is distinctive, but easy on the ear. The Australian sense of humour is closer to the British than the American- plenty of sarcasm. They have 'Friends' there too.;-)

Sorry I'm late to the party, but congratulations Eric! :D

I know what it's like to go through the visa fiaso - my fiancee just got her visa to go with me to the UK for a holiday. The stress of that almost gave me a heart attack. ;)

I'm sure you'll have a ball in Australia. Bung a shrimp on the barbie for me, won't you? ;)

Thank you, guys. I've done all of stuff I need to carry from China now. I'm gonna take the plane on 16th,July. See you guys in Australia.

Btw, Shane, you're in love with a Chinese girl?
Oops, you're ahead of me in this way.
But I hope I could get an alien girl. Call it even?
:)
