It it OK to say: I haven't touched boxing gloves for 7 months now.

How about: I haven't been touching boxing gloves for 7 months now.

That is eminently clear.

How about: I haven't been touching boxing gloves for 7 months now.
That is a very unusual use of "having been." While it may not be technically incorrect, I don't believe it would be used without some confusion.

The phrase "I haven't touched..." (whether boxing gloves, alcohol, or my homework) is a very common phrase.
