Hi,

could you please tell me whether it is possible to use the word "termination" in the following sentence:

The affected party shall notify the other party of the termination of force majeure and the elimination of its concequences.

Seems ok.

I am presuming you mean that the "force majeure" no longer has any effect?

yes, that the event of force majeure, e.g. earthquake, ended and its consequences are eliminated

Hmm.

Maybe "cessation" in this context would be better?
