I am searching for a word that works for everyday products that we buy. This word, or term, replaces all the names. For instance, all tissues are called Kleenex because that is the most popular brand, therefore, it is the name associated with tissue. Coke is another example. I am a teacher, and one of my fifth grade students is looking for this. Any assistance is appreciated.
