I'd like to thank you all for the explanatioin about NEITHER and the "s". Yes, the S is correct when we say NEITHER OF THE CHILDREN ARE and not IS because we have NEITHER OF and in this case we can use both, either wish S or without the S.

Missed your first thread, Adriana, but you had better not use 'neither... are' on an examination.
