1. That means that he adds 9 to 13 kilograms of pressure to his neck if a teen looks down as he texts.

2. That means if a teen looks down as he texts, he adds 9 to 13 kilograms of pressure to his neck.


Are the both sentences grammatical?

The second is much better. I'd put 'that' after 'means'.
