my BF sent an email whose title is 'Chemistry Then! i thought it might be admire-ology' after i told him there might be a chemistry between us.. what does he want to say please?

Maybe he did not understand it when you said there was "chemistry between us."

Could he be suggesting that the grounds for attraction are more to do with characteristics (that can be admired) more than chemistry?
