I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct.
1.The actor's long battle with depression and his suicide attempts did not become known to the public until his death and the discovery of his secret diaries.
Would my sentence be correct if I use "first" like this:
2. The actor's long battle with depression and his suicide attempts became first known to the public after his death and the discovery of his secret diaries.
