I would like to know the right way to write this sentence and could you please explain to me why?:


Its time for you to be on TV

or

It's time for you to be on TV

I would like to know the right way to write this sentence and could you please explain to me why?:


Its time for you to be on TV

or

It's time for you to be on TV

Its time = something's time [possessive]

It's time = It is time...

So the second sentence is the correct one to say "It is time for you to be on TV".
