So is the expression as "light yellow" and "yellowish".

Off-white is a light beige- it is not a pure white.

Light yellow is a gentle colour, and yelowish implies it is not pure yellow, but close. ;-)

According to color experts, whites can tend toward blue, gray, brown or yellow. Any of these deviations can produce an off-white, and they would all be slightly different.

Light yellow would be a pale shade of yellow. Yellow-ish could apply to failntl yellow or could be added to another color to make a combination, such as yellowish green.
