Can you say "choreographed" even for wrestling, not only for dancing? It seems to have broad applications.

A wrestler in game - Hey! Biting wasn't in the plan.
Watcher - Hey, the fight is choreographed!

not a teacher

It can be used in a figurative sense for all kinds of situations. Very recently I overheard something similar to: "Ten people applied for the job and on the day of the interviews we had to choreograph it all so the applicants didn't see one another".

Here's the definition of this word from a dictionary:

Verb

  1. Compose the sequence of steps and moves for (a performance of dance or ice skating).
  2. Plan and control (an event or operation).

I believe I have seen the word "choreographed" used to describe wrestling before.

Since pro wrestling is fake, the moves for the fights are indeed worked out in advance. The compose a sequence of steps and moves. They choreograph it.
