The Frog

He has an appetite for flies.
Snaring his meals
With his mucilaginous tongue
Keeps him occupied.

Definitely not fastidious,
He is unconcerned
About the habits of people
Who like their frogs fried.

Frankly I lost any interest to taste frogs' legs at all in the future after reading this poem, hehe, though I even have ever the idea to have a try some day.

More importantly,we 're supposed to uphold the banner of pretecting the good creature-----frogs from now on.

Remember to your mind frogs live on nasty flies when you open your mouths to eat them next time, ;)

This one is one of two poems I have written about frogs. (The other is "I Woke up as a Frog".) It is the only time I have been able to fit the word mucilaginous in a poem.

I am glad people have been enjoying it. (Lucy and TDOL make quite a tag team. :) -)

May I offer some corrections?

Try:
I have lost any interest in tasting frogs' legs.

Try:
Remember that frogs live on nasty flies.

(Well, they have to eat something, don't they? )

Hi Ron!
What does 'tag team' mean in "Lucy an TDOL make quite a tag team"??
I have looked after the 'tag' from the dictionary, which means 'label' or something related to, please let me know of it, there must be something funny inside you are trying to allude to :p :)
And again, thanks for your correction. hehe ....it seems that the more sentences i wrote, the more mistakes are found by you :)

Hi TDOL!
I can get two conclusions from your comment of frogs' legs in
"They're like a mixture of chewing gum and chicken."
#one: 'chewing gum' is sweet, and 'chicken' is succulent, so "frogs' legs" must be the mixture of 'sweet and full of meat'!
#two: 'chewing gum' is hard to chew into pieces to swallow, and 'chicken'is fleshy, so "frogs' legs" is better to look but not to eat?!

;) hehe....

"Tag team" was (I think) originally a wrestling term. Anyhow, what I meant was that the each of you is funny, but the two of you are at least twice as funny.

I'm so happy to be a member of "tag team" founded by you as a funny man!

It sounds interesting of that taste, Tdol!
So are you trying to persuade me to have a try of frogs' legs later....
