I heard some people say:
1. This is for Indian cricket team.
2. This is for the Indian cricket team.
I don't understand which one I should say?

Explain me a way to solve my problem to use the articles.

You are talking about a specific team so you need the article. When you talk about a specific countable noun, the definite article is necessary. If you heard someone say sentence 1, they were wrong.

There is only one national Indian cricket team, so we use the article because we are referring to it. You could say that this is for Indian cricket teams, referring to all teams or teams in general in India.

In fairness, there are two Indian national cricket teams - there's a men's team and a women's team - but our responses regarding the use of "the" in the original post are still correct because the sentence clearly refers to just one team.

In almost any context, it would be clear which of the two teams was under the microscope. And if it weren't, it wouldn't make the original sentence correct.
