Which of these two sentences is correct:
1-The policeman this morning was very kind to me.
2-The policeman from this morning was very kind to me.

(Meaning a policeman whom I met/ with whom I had to deal/... this morning was kind to me)

This is a follow-up on a question I asked a couple of days ago.

It seems to me that in 1 the policeman in question was kind to me this morning, and in 2 he was kind to me later on.

I don't think 1) is correct.
A teacher told us 2) is correct, and I would say something like "the policeman who helped me this morning was very kind", or "the policeman I met this morning...".

I think 1 is fine. The distinction in meaning is possible, but it is not automatic. ;-)
