1) During Chinese new year in Malaysia, many people will eat "Yu Sang" which is a kind of salad. Before eating the salad, diners will stand up to toss the salad as high up as possible while reciting auspicious phrases. The height of the toss is the method used for measuring the prosperity and luck level of each diner for that year. The higher the toss the more prosperous one will become and the luckier one will get.

2) The more you use it the luckier you will get/be. (Which is correct, get or be?).

Are the sentences correct? Hope somebody can help me. Thanks
