In addition, the lessons learned form facing the difficulties and overcoming them and the risks of these extreme sports may be very valuable in everyday life.

Are the second and third "from" implied in the following way?

In addition, the lessons learned from facing the difficulties and (from) overcoming them and (from) the risks of these extreme sports may be very valuable in everyday life.

I don't think so.

(I would use "useful" instead of "valuable" but maybe that's just me.)

What is your suggestion, Tarheel?

This is the main context, but I want to insert "overcoming" if it is possible.

In addition, the lessons learned from facing the difficulties and the risks of these extreme sports may be very valuable in everyday life.

I don't understand. You want to take "overcoming" out and then put it back in?

The original is fine (except for the misspelling, of course). The point is that by taking on and passing those tests the individual learns valuable lessons that he can use in everyday life. And he gains a great deal of self-confidence.

Please don't change anything in the original post. That would make the discussion seem pointless.

No. Sorry If I makes it sound confusing.

I understand. I didn't make any changes to the original post. It is as was.

However, the following is the the original context extracted from a book I am studying:
In addition, the lessons learned from facing the difficulties and the risks of these extreme sports may be very valuable in everyday life.

Now, I want to insert "overcoming" in the context above. How it would be like If I wanted to add that word in the context above?
