The following is one of China's provinces' college entrance examination questions:
There at the door stood a girl about the same height ____.
A. as me B. as mine C. with mine D. with me
(The given answer is B.)

I would think A is also correct. Am I right?

Could I ask native English teachers to help me please? Thank you in advance.

No, only A is correct. (You could change it to make it right the way Soup did.)

Unfortunately, what the test makers seem to do in some cases is invent sentences, and those sentences are not spoken by real people in real life. Say:
There at the door stood a girl about the same height as me

or (more natural):

There at the door stood a girl about as tall as me.
:)

I think it's only answer b that is perfectly alright.

... a girl about the same height as mine. = a girl having about the same height as I have (and not as I am)
mine refers to the state of possession

... a girl of about the same height as me. = a girl being of about the same height as I am (and not as I have)
me refers to the state of being

b is only ok if you add 'with'; "a girl with about the same height as mine"
otherwise it's "a girl about the same height as me"

Try differentiating between the following:

The girl is about the same height as me (= as I am).
but
There is a girl about the same height as mine (= as I have).
