[Grammar] the scripting is also as bad

This is from a game forum that someone posted. Is using 'as' like that grammatically correct?
I assume this means scripting is bad as much as missing the wide open shots ridiculously. Am I right?

Not exactly. Here, as means equally and is grammatically correct and natural. We might also say that it's just as bad. It has the same meaning.

The phroase "missing the wide open shots ridiculously" is wrong. Ridiculously doesn't make sense there, and wide open should be wide-open because it's a two-word adjective (like two-word).
