I read it in the newspaper. The article was about the conditions in one of our neighboring countries (You must have understood which country am I writing about.). But I am confused about "They incite the Sunni faithful against" this line. "Incite the Sunni faithful against" what does it mean?

Did you take only the part in quotation marks from the newspaper? If the whole quote is from a newspaper, you need put the whole quote inside quotation marks, and tell us which newspaper. You can make the section you're asking us about stand out within the quote by putting it in bold or in italics​.

It means "people who belong to/believe in the Sunni Islam religion".

The word "faithful" means strong believers.
